I remember helping people out and they returned the favor with nothing but abuse. I dusted off my feet from them and that place and I kept it pushing. Never feel stupid or bad about helping people or for caring about others. Dust your feet off and move on. The ability to give and receive love matters. It’s what separates us from all other life forms. When someone shows you that they believe a loving person is weak, that should be a red flag to you. People that abuse or take advantage of others are telling who they are… and that there’s something strongly imbalanced within them..So, why would you, martyr yourself, by involving yourself with people like that? They need to heal. Grow up, that isn’t about you at all. That’s on them, remove yourself from people like that. When I realized, I was the only one hurting me by placing my self, heart and hopes in the hands of people that didn’t even love themselves, I suddenly understood the lesson they were placed in my life to teach me..Self Love is the Most powerful love there is. Self love won’t allow you to ignore your intuition or let you believe prioritizing others above thy self is healthy or noble because it’s not. It’s just stupid and if you are that reckless with your own life…don’t think you will be a part of mine because you won’t. That’s toxic, needy, clingy and above all, dangerous …all Fear-based. I had to learn the hard way that I can look out for others but not at my expense. I can do what I can to help someone that is in need out but to throw caution to the wind, is a fool’s move. I use to do stupid things, like give people my last, like look at me..see how nice and noble I am?Please, that’s just a damn fool and a manipulator, nothing more. I’ve discovered that we all need those jackass experiences to wake us up. If we refuse to master the objective, be prepared to go through it again and again..time is fluid..so basically you’ve got all of infinity to figure it out. Just like the scene from the “Dr. Strange” movie… We’ll just keep on looping and looping…forever or until you finally realize that “You” are the best thing yet.
