Hood Celebrity

Every time I hear a man say, “He’s hooked up with this bad b****.” I laugh. Now, I’m not laughing at the man or even, the woman per se…I’m actually chuckling, thinking to myself, this man doesn’t actually know females from the hood that well yet. I’m from Queens. It’s something about Queens and music. Especially, with how people carried themselves. Some became, what I’ll call, Hood Celebrities.

Most think anything feminine is always about women but actually, it’s not. Both genders, all males and females, possess the feminine energy and masculine energy within…it’s only when they’re not in balance or aligned, that they become destructive to themselves and others. Example, an abrasive woman (aggressive) is operating more out of her masculine energy. A man that is extremely manipulative (emotions) is operating more out of his feminine energy but both sexes have both energies, within. The energy most dominant, is what we’ll notice first. Get it? I said all of that to say, I noticed women operating in distorted feminine energy during those days. Why? Because every Joe Blow could become a self-made, hood entrepreneur…Only the true hustlers, began to stand out from the rest of the drug dealers…he was the hood star. Around the way, we’d call them our, Ghetto Superstars, Ballers, or Hood celebrities. So competition was fierce in the hood, especially amongst the women, to try to get the boss. Women became more competitive but in very grimy ways, to get with the hood celebrities. I know because I was a part of this culture too.

I’m Fire element, which is masculine energy but I categorize what we operated in the hood as, distorted feminine energy because of how cut throat we were. It’s just the way we went about things in the hood. For example, a woman would see another woman, with all the latest hot s*** on because of her man, so now this woman would plan on how to get with him. Some befriend the woman in hopes, to steal him from her. Others don’t like her, just because of her staying fly, so they’d do whatever to drag her down because they’d become so envious of her, they’d plot malicious ways to try to take him from her. They want to be her and have hood celebrity status…but it’s not that simple, it’s not easily attained…so it’s envied by many.

Some people have the latest everything but they don’t actually achieve anything. They tell other people stories, like they’re their own. That’s a scammer, a con artist, folks. They’re not their true selves. Be careful of being conned, by this type of person, they have to buy things to get attention but everything they do, comes from an insincere space. It’s not real. An illusion. That’s not actually a hood celebrity because that person is Fugazi guys. It’s a poser that’s out fooling people and perpetuating…There’s a huge difference. There’s this natural, quality oozing up out of them..all can see it. It’s naturally within ’em. They’re popular without trying. They’re born with it. They’re meant to shine…and without any effort, they do. That’s hood celebrity.

Now, do you get why I was chuckling earlier? He’s boasting but may not realize she’s after him because of who his woman is. It’s like Hov and B, Jigga is on point but it is because B, is considered that b***, that h**s got to have Jigga. Get it? It’s not necessarily because of the man, even if he is all that, that other women want him. Depending on his woman’s swag and her status, it could really be about his woman. If she is considered to be that chick in the hood, other women, are instantly jealous of her. They all want to date him, just to feel as if they’re on the same level and status, as his chick, who is a hood celebrity.

Now, do you see why it’s distorted feminine energy? It’s toxic. Women do this in all walks of life but since I’m from the hood, I’m giving you, a hood perspective. That’s truly what is going on right now in Hollywood, with Pete Davidson…it’s just happening in Hollywood, instead of the Hood. Still the same dynamics. All these chicks wanna be on that chick’s status, though many won’t admit it but we all can see it clearly. No matter what we call it. Women are women. Competitive until they learn, that it’s best to compete with themselves.

To be honest with y’all, a lot of times, the guy isn’t necessarily all that but the women are so jealous of his woman that they’re giving him attention, just because of her..it’s about her, more than it’s really about them, wanting him. For instance, ever notice the normal guy dates a hot chick and his status suddenly increases? Then, as soon as she leaves him, he declines. It was always about his chick, not him. In the hood, that chick is considered, a “hood celebrity.” That’s why other women feel like they had to date that girl’s dude, so badly. I laugh because the guy really thought it was about him but it’s really jealous women, being catty.

Narcissistic men know this very well, that’s why they try to Destroy a woman, that’s popular, if she wants out. It kills his ego and status because it returns him back in to ordinary, if she leaves. He’s an attention whore. He knows the baddest chicks, gave him play because of her. If she leaves, so does his new attention…and, respect, he suddenly got from other men for being with her. Get it? A lot of these men are not so in love, they’re afraid to be whomever, they were before she came along. That’s why they need to destroy her. They envy what she has, popularity, on her own merit… her hood celebrity. They don’t have that but they want it.

So now they’ll try to ruin that female’s status…it’s only because he’s jealous of her. The foul things start to happen, when she wants out…he can’t handle her taking, her status with her. It’s exactly the same thing for men, dealing with a narcissistic woman, she turns back into plain Jane again and she and her ego, can’t handle that. She’s not so in love with him, she loved what being with him, made her look like, to others. They’re members of the Jezebel Clan. It’s people with low self-esteem, feeding their ego and need for validation, off of you…The Hood celebrity.

That’s why certain guys don’t want to break up with certain women. Certain women don’t want to break up with certain men. They’re not in love, it’s a facade. The women are jealous of his lady…And, they are coming at her, through him. Same thing for the hood celebrity guy. That’s why it matters who you are with, especially in the hood. The wrong person will purposely try to ruin or smear your name, reputation because they can’t shine off you anymore. Now, they want to destroy you…because they only loved your hood celebrity status. But.. you took your shine back. Now, they’re mad…Sorry guys, just wave and tell them, “Bye, Bye, Sea Turtle.” LOL.

Lastly, pay attention to people’s motive..ask yourself, “Do they love you or what they appear to be, to others because of you?” It matters. They are the ones that will talk smack about you everywhere, spread lies and do you dirty, when y’all break up because you’ve caused them a huge ego death. Y’all know a narc can’t handle that..they’re emotionally immature, what’d you expect? It wasn’t them shining, the shine came from you, the star. If they’re not used to it and suddenly get all of this attention, they are going to be hard as hell to get rid of, when y’all break up. Why? They secretly crave attention. You bring them that Hood Celebrity status. So you walking away is a no-no, to them. That becomes a serious problem, guys…we may laugh at this but be very careful, they act a fool breaking up. Tread lightly people, it’s wild out here.
