Success and maintaining the status quo has helped many forget the “risk” of just being Black…but it will always rear its head unexpectedly.
Wondering if your child will return home daily is something no parent should endure…Yet, Black parents must.
Black women carry that “fear” and “mental anguish” around pretending we can cope with it…knowing it’s eating, us alive inside and weighing down on us physically, mentally and spiritually…our children can see it in our eyes and hear it in our voices.
No woman faces the fear and constant disturbance in the atmosphere like a mother of a black child.. We are the only group of mothers that know it’s just a matter of time and can almost smell the death of our offspring in the air...praying that later on, we will not be haunted with afterthoughts of what could we have done differently to save them?
We’ve birthed a species no one will admit is endangered…. Yet, death is the companion embracing our children…Its forever lingering and foreshadowing them, either by the hands of those that look like them because they’re filled with self-hatred or by the hands of those in authority because they’re not properly trained to relate to the psychology of the oppressed (Blacks)..Regardless, it hurts the Mothers, just the same. Those are our “gifts” many seem to have very little regard for..the miracles we’ve carried in our womb, every time we see one murdered, we can most certainly feel it..each Black Mother can feel each murder deep within… it penetrates her subconscious through her womb, even if it is the offspring of another. People often ask me, “How can you just walk away from a 20 year marriage??”
I instantly know from their question, they don’t understand it…and most people really mean no harm, they’re simply trying to make sense of it all.
I didn’t walk away, I began to see…“What I really am, isn’t what I thought I was”…I was wearing a mask and didn’t even realize it. I was conditioned to not walk in my truth, to stay married. Even If my spouse and I had obviously outgrown one another. That’s the facade, it’s conditioning. Never willingly live a lie for anyone. Always be true to thyself.
On the outside, it’s a happy, put together family…but growth must occur or it dies…no positive change makes it become a facade. Read, “Facade” link here, Facade Truth is, we were both fighting some type of addiction, in one way or another…and we were both operating as dysfunctional as hell, by staying together…it had become pure chaos. I was addicted to beingneeded, a martyr. People pleasing. I would place all of my needs at the bottom of the list and do for others, as if it was noble…no, it is isn’t, it’s foolish to martyr myself for my family. Then, I’d turn around and get mad if others couldn’t reciprocate. That’s not a loving person folks, that’s just a jackass. It’s also a form of manipulation.
No one is to make anyone else a priority over oneself. You can help out and but never at your expense of your own well-being. I was helping others out, when the truth was “I was supposed to to get me straight, first.” A lot of women are out here mad and resentful with their men because they gave them their all. Now they’re depleted. Burnt out. Let me ask y’all a question? Who told you to do that? That’s the Toxic conditioning I was talking about earlier. It’s no good. Anything or ANYONE that requires one to abandon, oneself, is not for you. Period. It’s not wise. You can give but you’re always to keep something for yourself. That’s balanced and heathy. I know because I was her, the martyr…and had to work hard to heal from over giving. People pleasing. No boundaries. I hope y’all know having no boundaries is dangerous, it attracts narcissist like flies to a pile of s***. IJS.
Another thing, no one likes to openly discuss how drinking, sexing or gambling, etc. can quickly get out of control…overeating too, it is all “addiction“…and it all kills a marriage. For some reason, in marriages, many treat those toxic behaviors as if, it’s not addiction, just as long as y’all are STILL married, no one really cares about the rest but I do. You were to seek professional help and conquer that ugly behavior, not ask or guilt your partner to stick by you while you spiral out of control. Who wants to be married to an addict of anything? It’s solely up to you to go do the work on you. If they choose to leave, that is their right also but don’t you dare enable anyone’s toxic behavior. They are to present their best selves to you, as you are presenting your best self to them, anything less is a damn joke. Grow up. Stop lying to yourselves.
I felt like this, we either will deal with our bs or I’m out. Our environment had become toxic. Growth was no longer happening. I wasn’t willing to compromise to save face any longer. It had cost me too much. The marriage had now become an “illusion”…a dangerous comfort zone. No one grows in that type of environment. I began to crave change and growth. I had to come back to what’s real for me. Myself. Not the things society or family and friends say are best for me. What Do I say, Is best for me? Did I even know anymore? So I got my head out the clouds of “what was”…and admitted to myself, “I’m where I am today, because that isn’t anymore.” Period. Slang.
I became grateful for the journey and began to thank Source for LOVE. I learned to “appreciate” all of the life lessons that entire experience taught me and then, “I let go.” I walked away because I was losing me. I could no longer afford to give me away. I left to go and heal me. I didn’t ask permission because I knew no one had the right, to think I belonged to anyone. I did what was best for me and took my power back. Compromise wasn’t working. Most turned on me offered no support at all. I didn’t care…who needs friends and family like that anyway? And so, I gave them all my ass to kiss. I only owed it to me…to be my best version of self. No further explanation required. I had to have my own back now.
Walking away doesn’t always mean that you don’t love someone. For me, it meant coming back to truth…letting go of out-dated belief patterns that are full of fear and false obligations to everyone but myself. That just didn’t work for me anymore. I am not here to martyr myself for anyone, so I won’t.

I was no longer aspiring for what I know truly makes me happy and fulfilled. I’d settled for comfortable and mundane…I’d become discontent, yet I wasn’t doing anything about it…why?
I looked at my life, to see what I needed to take control of ME again and then decided, I’d change direction…and I stepped out on faith in Source and myself, to take a new path. I changed lanes.

When you’re chosen by the Most High you literally have the SUN shining on you everywhere you go. I remember a time engaging with a covert narcissist, the entity was fueled by getting an emotional reaction from me, especially when it has purposely set up interactions that will likely lead into explosive arguments. Laughing and playing around while I was pissed for the blatant disregard of my time, not to mention the many lies told to and on me…until I recognized, that type of behavior is to solicit a response from me because the entity is an attention whore and a cock blocker. As soon as I noticed the entity’s behavior, I immediately shut the conversation down.. why? Because it wasn’t looking for clarity and had no intentions of giving me any clarity. It needs to feed off you, especially if you are of a high vibration…it will do anything to get your emotional response. That is its supply, so shut it down. Detach. Pull your energy back from them. I literally pretended it was no longer there and never acknowledged its presence again. The Divine has equipped us to bring down this principality in our lives. Train yourself to work on cutting off its source… your emotional response and low vibrational behavior. That’s what I did, bump being someone who is unworthy, wifey material. The entity creates and causes confusion in simple matters because chaos is the perfect environment to stir up emotional responses in others. The DF job is not to engage. Her trusting what Spirit has shown her gives her an eagle’s eye view of the dynamics playing out. If you slip up, don’t worry…just start right there, in that moment, as soon as you remember what’s going on…detach yourself from it.
The DF trust and follows her intuition only because the entity is also a liar, so it lies about everything, known as gaslighting. The Great Conjunction (Dec.21, 2020) was to awaken humanity to “The Age of Aquarius”…and that thereis healing available for us, all, the Collective. To look beyond the veil of illusions.
Do not focus on the entity, it’s nothing more than a spirit of distraction. Realize it slanders, lies, cheats, steals and much worse. Never trust it. Recognize it’s there only to get you off track, sent by darker forces to keep you from shining your light on to others. Her behavior matters, giving solid proof of who, She truly is. DF tremendously improves the lives of those she engages with because she’s a healer, her energy signature proves it…which is why her light bothers all under demonic possession. She can be trusted. She’s enduring, patient, supportive, encouraging and ignites healing in others, sharing wisdom… putting those still in darkness, on to positive paths in life. She encourages transformation and inspires others to take that journey within, themselves. She has fully embraced her duality, knowing it’s what makes her whole. She is the proof in the pudding. Her actions alone, shows others what “Love, Honor, Character & Integrity” actually look like.

Remember the saying, “Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are?” What if I told you that there’s more to that than we know? The word proximity can be defined as closeness. When I think of this word, I immediately think of those I am close to. During the pandemic, the country was ordered to stay home with the people we live with. It was very telling because that gave us time to reevaluate our priorities and the people in our lives. How aware are you of the state of mind of those in close proximity to you?
I never really focused much on it before until I noticed the reports on the nightly news about mass shootings. My condolences to all of the families that have lost their loved ones. You are forever in our prayer.
I couldn’t help but wonder, what if the people responsible for committing these crimes omitted a frequency, most of us are too busy to notice. The most potent form of energy is thought because it penetrates all space and time. Every thought has a frequency. What if we were trained to read frequency?
Thoughts produce energy right and we can measure thoughts by frequency…not to mention, everything on the planet has its own tone. Everything in the Universe is made up of energy…Einstein’s E=mc2. Quantum physics, nothing is solid, it’s a mass of energy in high speed.
So hypothetically speaking, what if there were technology to scan and identify destructive thought patterns of energy early…and, what if we had technology that could scan people’s frequency to help prevent disaster? Enabling authorities in getting that person some kind of emergency medical assistance/help before the violence occurred? Yes, it’s pretty evasive but what is privacy in this so called Smart Age anyway?
When people realize that the mental state of those around us effect all, especially those within close proximity to you…maybe then, we will understand how important mental health really is and that it’s actually something we need to integrate when developing our Modern Science and Technology gadgets and gizmos.
In case you haven’t noticed, I greatly enjoy Science and Technology…I haven’t sorted out all of the kinks guys. Anyway these are random thoughts that I decided to share with y’all.
